In today’s episode, I talk about the whirlwind feeling from minding my own business scheduling podcasts, to suddenly being requested by the BBC to perform for 80 couples renewing their vows. It was all such a blur, I was nervous as hell because I was so cold, and I didn’t even know about the event until about 3 days earlier. 😬🥶 BUT. What a GLORIOUS way to start the year as a wedding cellist?!??!!

It really was incredible to be a part of BBC Coventry and Warwickshire’s event, where 80+ couples all rocked up to Coventry Cathedral to say “WE STILL DO!” But the rushed feeling, short notice, and verrrrrry cold church was an unfortunate combo that had me feeling uneasy by the time it came for me to sit and play.

Even though I thoroughly enjoyed playing, I talk about how I pushed through the performance anxiety, navigated the odd musical slip ups, and my AuDHD mind going for a quick wander in the middle of the performance. There’s a preview of my performance on my instagram, if you’d like to go and listen.
