Amazing photo, Jay. The atmosphere really comes through. Is this one of those instant photo thingies (definitely a technical term!)?
Hahahah yes it is! One of my fave little instant cameras. Thanks very much! 🙂

Love the contrast here of the trees and the white border, trying to work out if it’s an image on a phone or a polaroid??

I didn't realise Silent Sunday was a linky thing before, in fact I didn't know what a linky was, I have just been posting and hashtagging – but now I have figured it out I will play by the rules from now on – sorry!!!
Omg i cant believe it. Similar to mine. Yours is way better though.
Stunningly atmospheric shot!
More November weather than May!
For a second I thought it was a photo on a tablet, then I realised it was the rather special instant film! 🙂
What a great pic. Beautifully framed shot
Amazing picture as always

Fabulous photo! Beautifully bleak
Great picture as usual
Scary but stunning!
That is gorgeous. It looks like it could have been taken in the desert, looks exactly like the tree in the Lion King!
Stunning stormy sky, very atmospheric.
Really atmospheric-looks like a still of your framed shot.
Love the silhouette, it's very dramatic against the graduated backdrop. The sky at the top looks almost navy! Thanks for the linky, as always glad it's home.

what a really fantastic shot, its the calm before the storm x
Thank you. It really was that too; the heavens quite literally opened about 10 seconds after I snapped the photo. 🙂

That could be Africa if it wasn't for the power lines overhead.
Does using an instant camera like that make you think differently about the pictures you’re taking?
Love the tree. I’m very fond of trees.
Always, which is why I'm spending more time (and money…) on film. With digital, it's all too easy to snap the moment and not think about what you're doing. Which is fine, but I still think people need to remember to slow down, AND take care with what they shoot from time to time.
Lovely picture. That tree is really creepy
Ack, I'm *just* too late to add to the linky!
I'm getting rather intrigued by the polaroid photos… must NOT start buying anything new. No no no!!
