Still a bit early in the season for a conker walk , but there was a small profit anyway.
I confess, I’d love to move into a house which had a Horse Chestnut tree of its own.

spouting all the crap you never say out loud.
We are very lucky to have a conker tree literally outside our house, in the road. We had millions of them stashed all over the house, last year, and I still am finding fusty old ones, from last year, as we get ready for this years hoard. I love conkers. I have heard they are good for warding off spiders too. Don't know if it's true.
That's a gorgeous photo. I love the contrast of the smooth shiny conkers and the fuzzysurface.
That would make a fantastic print, would love something like that in my son's room.
My parents have moved into a place with a horse chestnut tree in the garden, I'm so pleased, it used to take me forever to gather enough spider deterrents!
