Is that a butterfly starting to emerge from a chrysalis?
Beautiful picture! No linky, so will pop back later 🙂
Beautiful, that's a gorgeous photo and I love the focus.
Love this picture. I also can't see the linky, must be too early, a first for me lol
You always find such interesting things to take pictures of. Love the macro

The raspberry (is it? It looks like a raspberry) ate the linky.
What an interesting and gorgeous picture xx
I'd love to learn how to do clever photo stuff like that, I know it's possible, but I think you still have to have an "eye" for it, and I don't have that! Cool picture!

Love the focus of the pic, very interesting photo.
Beautiful photo. Is it a poppy head? Love that you can see all the seeds inside ready to be scattered by the wind.
Herding Cats says
What an intriguing picture , beautifully taken xx

I can't work out what that is! Lovely picture though.
Beautiful contrast between the foreground and background. Must learn this stuff one day.

That's a beautiful picture. Technically brilliant too! You should be proud of this one!
Number 11 is my error…. Sorry.
that's a lovely macro missus. i'm not up on photography terms well but someone mentioned depth of field once, is that what is so spot on here?
Intriguing photo, is it a seed pod?
You never fail to impress me with your love for detail. Great photo! I also love how nicely. The colours work together…

Lovely picture, can just see pod about to burst, can’t get link on my mobile, so will pop back when I’m up!
I would so love to be able to take a close up photo like that
I love the close up effect but don't know what it is, I'm thinking of blackberries!
That's an amazing picture, all the seeds just waiting to start the process all over again…thank you!
Love the shallow depth of field!

I do love a good macro shot
It's some kind of seed pod about to explode I think isn't it? I love that you have made something so ordinary so beautiful. x

So simple and so beautiful, reminds me that everyday things are exactly that
I want to shake shake shake shake shake shake shake it!
When I was a kid I used to frustrate my Grandmother by shaking them all over the garden and planting flowers in places she didn't want – she was a passionate gardener and would harvest them when they were ready every year to plant in carefully selected spots – and I would cause havoc by shaking them all over the lawn!
Hahah yes!!! That's very much how it is in our front garden at the moment. It's amazing how those tiny seeds can pop up everywhere once you give em a shake 😉
You can't beat a shake shake!
I like that but does look a bit like a body snatcher pod. X
HAH That made me snort. 🙂
Checking back, my comment and link got eaten. I love the focus on this, can almost feel the pod about to burst! It's great looking at the beauty in small things, one of the reasons I love silentsunday.
promising – beautiful close up
Love macro shots when taken properly.
Multi Layer Mummy says

WOW a great photo
An expert’s picture.
Lovely photo. Somehow when I look at it, it reminds me of cake batter about to fall off a beater, even though I know it's not haha.
Bod for tea says
Think I saw on Twitter that you took this with your phone? Awesome. Would love to know how you get the background the be blurry while the pod is in focus… *blushes at photo naivety*
Rollercoaster Mum says
Thought this was a blackberry to start with but way too early for them – and now I see the poppy seed head – very clever.
Great macro 🙂 I've done a few Silent Sundays on my blog in the past but didn't know about your long-standing version till a few weeks ago; happy to join in 🙂

Amazing photo! I would love to be as good as you are at composition, but realise it's more than technique, it's having an eye for it. and yet again you've demonstrated this talent! I love checking out your photos!
