Do wish I lived nearer a beach like I used to. Lovely smells of the sea and the sand, fish and chips like nowhere else. Running along wet smooth sand. Lush.
Seeing your husband with your children always reminds me of Bronnie. Never more so when the picture is on the beach. Bronnie was an avid sailor and head of our local RNLI and so loved the sea here and at home in the USA where the family are also custodians of a Lighthouse project. My memories aside, this picture also serves to remind us of the vastness of the universe and our perspective in it. Lovely picture, Jay.
I tell you what Lady Melness, I could quite happily take a frillion photos of The Mr with The Smalls on this beach. Everything about this short time on the beach was right; perspective being the biggest factor. There is always some kind of lure in things like this, no? x
I'm so looking forward to getting a car so I can take the boys to the beach!
My silent sunday this week isn't the best photo, but it's a HUGE milestone for Max. He's IN THE BATH. WITH HIS BIG BROTHER, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. AND STAYED THERE FOR 30 MINUTES!!!
To say I'm a proud mama is an understatement. SO chuffed! Had to share. 😉
I love beaches in the winter. Lovely photo – very clean and uncluttered, if you know what I mean.
I know what you mean! I was thinking exactly the same, its perfect x
Ahh that's gorgeous. Nothing says British Spring more than a rainy walk on the beach.

Stunning photo. The landscape looks cold and bleak but there's a great sense of adventure!
Great picture, so desolate but beautiful…
What a beautiful deserted beach.
Hope you had fun!
Ahh looks very windy but lovely photo.
I would swear that was Polzeath, my local beach? Looks wonderful and where is everyone else? A beach to yourself!
Yep, it's Polzeath. 🙂
Simply beautiful and serene. Where were you? Mine's a beach one this week too!
Oh, I love back shots of people…..this is gorgeous.
Love the seaside, especially when it's cold and empty!
love the colour contrasts.
I love family pictures like this. Bet the kids had a great time in spite of the drizzle!
I’d love to go there, run and run and never come back. Damn I’d be in trouble!
Looks great!

I love going to the beach when it’s stormy and rainy and feel the power of the elements. It’s something really beautiful and relaxing.
Cold, but lovely!
So jealous right now!
Wow, I love the big empty sky and the beach.
That looks cold, but fun!
Lovely pic x No such thing as bad weather eh? Just need to tog them up and do it anyway. Hope the kids enjoyed making sandcastles x

Love a beach in the rain. Looks peaceful – bet it wasn't!
A gorgeous deserted beach – Wales or Scotland?
Makes me want to run and run and run. But perhaps that's just me 🙂 Love the pop of colour from the little's coats.
A wet day at the beach! Bet you had great fun. Lovely photo.
Lovely shot 🙂 can't wait to take mine to the beach…

It looks completely deserted, I love it when beaches are this empty!
I love those kind of days 🙂
Looks just like one of our seaside shots-freezing but invigorating!
Lovely photo! Can't beat the beach on any day! Why I love living in Bournemouth!
Lovely shot
One thing I miss about living in Switzerland. The beaches.
Now if our beach looked like that I'd be down there all the time. Not fond of the rocks myself. Great pic as always.
Beautiful, I miss the British coast 🙁
Fantastic beach shot, thanks for sharing.
Lovely beach but the weather has been awful this Easter hasn't it?! Mind you, roll on back to school – that's what I say 😉
A fabulous pic
That looks such a peaceful place, despite the weather! Beautiful.
Hmm, sure I just posted a comment. Anywho, I love the remoteness of the beach, looks so peaceful despite the weather. Gorgeous.
Looks a bit chilly but still fun to go to the beach 🙂
So gorgeous! It makes me long for the empty beaches of Australia. Might have to organise a trip to the seaside now after seeing that pic.
Lovely photo. Love wet, empty beaches and I bet they did too
I loves me some beach! 🙂
Beautiful serene setting. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so looking forward to getting a car so I can take the boys to the beach!
