I've just discovered Silent Sunday through the lovely Jennie Henley's blog "Edspire" – I love it!! Hope I'm doing it right. Your life looks v similar to mine! … lots of lego.
I love your colorful field of focus shots. I also love your black and white shots. Damnit woman, I just love all your shots. *grumble* #whydoyouhavetobesofaraway *grumble* #needagreatphotognearme *grumble*
Finally found the new home of SS! *punches air* Great focus on the Lego trucks. Can't beat it can you? I just hauled two boxes of the stuff to my mum's with Little Chap while I go to work *alt tabs back to emails*
Love the focus and the colours of this pic. Another fab photo!
This is what our living room looks like most days. With a few "owws" thrown in!
I do love lego
Lovely photo of your boys at the table together. Amazing colours and focus. Are they taking a break from playing lego?
I like the mid-range focus: nice! Reminds me I must try to get a decent camera, one day
I love lego and that photo is amazing!
I wish I could do this with the focus. Happy Easter!
If you can put your camera in manual mode, you probably could do it.
it's easy to do, even with a cheap £30 camera (as long as it has optical zoom) it can be pulled off well
Great focus missus. With your photography skill you're really spoiling us 🙂
Great angle 🙂 You can't beat Lego!
Damn, I wish I could take pictures like this…..I also wish I had that much lego!
Easy – lie on the floor, tilt camera up slightly, press the button. 😉
Love the colours! Can I ask what camera you use? I'm looking at getting a proper one again this year 🙂
This was taken with a Fujilm FinePix x100. You can do this with most cameras if it has a manual mode option.
Just don't step on it!!
Love the low angle and depth of focus
Lovely photo! Love Lego!
Love love Lego, so great for imagination etc. Happy Easter!
Another great photo essay. I can't see lego without thinking of Bronnie jumping up and down and swearing like a sailor. Those things HURT!
Looks very productive!
very cool pic! have a great weekend 🙂
I love that the smalls are working hard (presumably on their tax returns) at the table while you’re playing with Lego. Nice work 😉
It was a tough negotiation, but The Smalls pretty much INSISTED I should be the on to concentrate on the Lego while they did, uh, "paperwork". *cough*
Looks lots of fun x
Part of me thinks "Oh, Lego! Brilliant! Love it!" and the other part "My God, what a minefield that'll be in the dark!"
Blurred foreground is effective!
My youngest would be in heaven!! x
🙂 Nice focal point – who doesn't love LEGO?!
Love Lego. Just don't. Stand on it, hurts more than childbirth! 🙂
Very cool angle! 🙂 x
Great focus! I have Lego all over the place at the moment, my boys love it!
Happy Easter! Lovely picture of the perfect trip hazard.

Brilliant photo. We have just got into Lego in our house, it ends up everywhere!
Ah Lego, love it/hate it I always end up standing on it
Cool. Lego is king
Looks like some house wrecking going on, you've gotta love school holidays 🙂
I simply LOVE lego. We are still at the Lego Duplo stage though xx
Lego!! Great angle
Love this pic – it's all about the blue engine! Our Austin would approve.
Glorious focus on this abandoned play scene, hope it wasn't ignored for too long!
Fab photo!! 🙂
Interesting angle to say the least! The kids must be wondering what you are doing but then again they are probably used to it.
Great angle, I took one earlier this week from the carpet too of lego! X

Love lego… until you stand on it/hoover it up/lose that crucial piece
😉

Love Lego. Great shot. I'm amused that they are so used to you crawling around with a camera that they haven't even looked round!
Lego abandoned in favour of eggs?
Now then, great minds think alike! We have lego too today 🙂 x
love Lego and that's. exactly the same as our table in the background too!
Just love the way you take photographs.
cool perspective!
lego toys are the best – if a little small – hope my little one is more up to small pieces by the time she gets into lego.

Ok, so 132 is right, 133 is wrong. Crap. I was all fail on this post wasn't I?
